Mr. Hinds started his Information Security journey as Foreign Service National Investigator at the United States Embassy in Barbados, after a successful career in the Royal Barbados Police Force. His quest for excellence granted him the opportunity to manage local and international Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program projects while pursuing his Associate degree in the field of Computer Studies. The primary responsibilities of these roles encompassed a wide range of strategic security and related technology scenarios: Some scenarios included delivery of software; infrastructure and services associated with information security systems and compliance; administrative systems; governance and policy; resource allocation; information security protocols; training; course management and client support services.

Mr. Hinds has hosted several conferences on digital and Cyber security, including:

Mr. Hinds’ competencies include training development, strategic planning, project and process management. He brings sound technical knowledge and over twenty (20) years of wide-ranging experience working with regional governments and law enforcement agencies.

Mr. Hinds is currently pursuing his degree in ‘Cyber Security’ at the University of Maryland University College – UMUC. He holds his Certified Digital Forensics Examiner credential from Access Data (ACE FTK) USA and Certified Expert in Cyber Investigations (CECI) credential from McAfee Institute. He also holds his Certified Instructor credential for Identification and Seizure of Digital Evidence from Department of State Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program (DS/ATA).
